Disaster Strikes Swiftly

Here is a tip you should take heed of if you are playing music in the 21st Century. If you are not using a computer, then this doesn’t apply to you and you can continue along your merry, analog, way.

If you do use computers and most assuredly if you are producing music, then you may have heard this before but having lost 2 hard drives in one week, it compels me to mention it for the umpteenth time. Back up your hard drives! When I say that, I don’t mean drag a copy and change the name… I mean create a drive image on a separate drive and with your audio masters, project files, or any other vital files, ensure you do make copies in at least 3 different locations.
