Okay, so now that after much parading, lobbying, and
political lathering, gay couples are finally being recognized, at least in some
states, what is it about this society that refuses to recognize someone who is
single or not in a relationship?
I mean really, they pay more in taxes, at least percentage-wise;
often they don’t get paid as much money as their family oriented counterparts,
even though no employer would ever plead guilty to that. Single people seem to
be at the bottom of the sociological hierarchy.
While a couple, of any sex, shares a nice cozy table by the
window in a nice restaurant and the family gets a nice booth in the corner,
