Windows 8 to use USB 3.0

Microsoft will support USB 3.0 in its upcoming Windows 8.0 OS release instead of Intel’s Thunderbolt, citing the wide usage of USB 2.0 and the growing interest in USB 3.0 as two of its reasons for the choice. USB 3.0 can transfer data up to 10 times faster than its predecessor USB 2.0, or 5 gigabits per second.  (Click here to Learn More….)
